Notifications & Alerts

PencilCase uses email notifications for all important events.

📧 What is sent by email

  • New connection requests
  • Connection request accepted or declined
  • New pencil request (1st, 2nd or confirmed)
  • Pencil updated or cancelled
  • Challenge created
  • Challenge resolved
  • Message received in chat
  • Password reset
  • Verification approval for studios

🛠 Managing notification settings

To enable or disable email notifications:

  1. Click your profile icon (top right).
  2. Select My Account.
  3. Click the three dots on your profile panel.
  4. Select Edit Profile.
  5. Toggle Enable email notifications.

These settings apply to both freelancers and studios.
